Entering the Forest

You approach the forest. As you come near, you hear a thousand voices that sound like the wind rustling leaves, branches creaking, birds singing, insects buzzing, and water flowing. You pause and breathe deeply, smelling the ground, flowers, and fresh air as it energizes you and fills you with power. You ask the forest if you may enter and a thousand voices respond, welcoming you in. You step into a magical realm, with yellow, blue, and purple flowers. Red faerie cups, moss, and mushrooms line the path. There is a creek flowing near by, making the vail thin between this world and the Otherworld.

The sun shines through the slits in the leaves in the tree canopy, making rays of light that illuminate the tiny dust, pollen, and insects before hitting the forest floor. You make your way to a small clearing with a circle of trees. You reach the sacred grove. You watch as an old man, whose long grey hair and beard are filled with leaves and flowers. He’s wearing a long natural white robe with a hood and carrying a staff. He enters the grove from the West and the forest feels his presence. You feel his warm and inviting presence of peace and love.
